Bio

The smallest Creature is a rock quartet from Larnaca, Cyprus, eulogized for their captivating melodies and rich sound in gripping recordings and energetic performances. With a broad palette of influences that can be at best held under the big umbrella of "alternative", they bring about a wide sonic spectrum ranging from sauntering melancholy grooves to fuzz-soaked punk rockers.

Their music has been characterized as "powerful, bold, exquisitely performed, contemporary, passionate, purposeful and poetic", while the lyrics offer a window into the lens of the human condition and the helical relationships between us, painting vivid imagery to guide listeners through their own journeys. After the praised release of two full-length albums, Million in 2016 and Magic Beans in 2020, and two singles What Color Is The Rain and Queen in 2023, they are currently in preparation of a third LP.

The smallest Creature are:
Stefanos Marnerides - vocals, guitar
Andreas Matheou - guitar, vocals
Iacovos Stylianides - drums
Pavlos Papadopoulos - bass

Magic Beans is a testament to the fact that there are still great alternative albums to be written. Ethereal enough to capture the imagination yet grounded enough to hit home.”
